June is National Bathroom Reading Month! We're celebrating with a month-long video contest that encourages bathroom readers everywhere to pick up a video camera and pay homage to a truly American past-time.
Your challenge: Create a 30- to 120-second video highlighting your take on reading in the bathroom. Make it fun, make it interesting, make it creative, but whatever you do, just make it! Read an excerpt from your favorite Bathroom Reader in the style of your choosing. Or you can write and recite a poem about our favorite past-time. Make up a rap song about the BRI. Or you could do a skit. Most importantly, be creative! It's up to you!
The Prizes: Every weekday in June the best-of-the-best of these “inspired” videos will be posted on YouTube, on Uncle John’s Facebook page, and right here in our own blog. One winner will be chosen each week to receive five of our best-selling titles. The grand prize is an Apple iPhone, a year’s supply of toilet paper (perfect for today’s economy!), and 20 of the most popular Uncle John’s Bathroom Readers! (Submissions must be received no later than June 26th to be eligible for the Grand Prize and Weekly Prizes.)
